Perhaps as she is growing it isn't quite big enough. If she doesn't wee outside the box, that could be the reason. I know cats don't like being watched, but if you could watch her for a couple of times, you'll see that she will squat to wee, but crouch (half standing) to poo, and that could cause the problem, and maybe a bit bigger tray could solve it.
Skipy, Schutzengel thanks for ure answers i havent got an older cat no more she passed away about 4 weeks ago and Ruby (ginger kitten) wasnt doing that then but i think u may be right Schutzengel about her scooping to wee and squatting to poo maybe the tray isnt big enough for her as hse growing at an alarming rate lol as when she covers up her doings she scattered cat litter all over the place her litter tray she uses at the moment is a big green one and the bags i buy for it is the biggest uu can get but i will pop over to petsmart tomorrow to see if i can get bigger thanks for ure help and advice its nice to know i can rely on others thank u Jennie xxx
