I heard a track on the Essential Selection on Radio 1 on Friday night - need to know who it's by and what it's called(please!!!!!)

It's a a female vocalist, and I remember her singing about America?

Any ideas?

Do you have any idea what time the track was played?

Was it just a case of you missing him giving the track details?

The show is still on iplayer for another two days (Radio 1 / schedule / Pete Tong / select date) which might help you hear him say who it is or if he doesn't, you can pick up more details or the actual time played which will help people on here identify it more easily.
