I wish to send scotch eggs abroad to South Africa, is there any regulations on doing this and how do I go about it?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I would imagine you may not be able to legally as it is a product that needs to be kept refrigerated ( eggs and pork ) and you can't guarantee that the product won't have been put in a really warm place during transport. High risk of giving the end user food poisoning.

Can I bring smoked or dried meats, such as biltong, into the UK from South Africa?
You aren't allowed to bring any meat or meat products from South Africa into the UK for your personal use. This includes fresh, smoked and dried meats. The same rules apply to most non-EU countries.
