whats your solution for sensitive teeth?

Sensodyne gel.

After cleaning your teeth rub a blob of gel directly onto the painful area and leave it there.

My dentist told me that, and it works.

Good reply Panic.. I found out myself about Sensodyne gel (the blue stuff) and told my dentist.. who now tells all her patients that about.. it seems to contain a mild anaesthetic and hence relieves pain.

If the Sensodyne doesn't work after a while, you could always have a veneer put on the tooth/teeth, but it can be expensive.
Hope you soon feel better. Toothache's lousy.

Had a tooth out today - not painful at all but now starting to give me gyp (or is it jip?). Still not as painful as the abcess on it a couple of weeks ago, talk about throbbing. Such relief when it burst and went down like a balloon. I use sensodyne but didn't know about rubbing it in, will try that.
