If I am playing a CD using Windows Media Player, is there any way I can save it onto my computer as an MP3 or anything else? Or can I only play it in CD form?

Assuming you are using the latest version 10, simply select RIP from the header tabs and the CD will be saved in Media Player.

Thanks- I tried that and this came up! "Windows Media Player cannot rip tracks from the CD correctly because the CD drive settings in Device Manager do not match the CD drive settings in the Player."

Maybe your techie problem will get in the way but I always use "freerip mp3" to convert CDs to mp3 as it bypasses any copy protection on the discs.

Was going to suggest windows media player but if that didn't work then try just copying the CD onto your hard drive. Go to my computer then click on the drive wit the cd in it then click on copy you can then choose the destination to where you want it to go.
