QI new series

What happened to the new series of QI. Just tuned in and they are showing repeats. Last weeks children in need was supposed to be the start of a new series with the letter F

It's moving to BBC1. In Dec there's a xmas special & the new series starts in January.

To be honest once i realized it was a repeat I turned over so missed the box out explanation.
