My PC crashed in the early hours and I have spent until now trying to fix it and I bleeding managed (dont know how)

I am soooo very smug cos I just wish i could wipe the smugness off the face of the 'foreign' AOL Techy 'Support' who told me to flip my monitor (?) upside down for a serial number.

I gave up -on him but not on myself.
I am just sooooo chuffed.

Mind you I had to take time out so my house is stinking of bleach and I swear half the furniture recoiled when i advanced with a cloth -so he did me a favour really.

Woo hoo -I am officially a stubborn biatch !!!!!!!!!!!

Well done Dris. AOL techs are a waste of space hun. I gave up talking to them long, long ago when I quickly realised I know more than they do...and I'm no expert. Getting past their frontline support and on to someone who actually knows anything is akin to plaiting fog or nailing jelly to a tree.
