John Henry Jones (b.Llanaelhearn, Caernarfon, 1959)
Can anyone provide information to the background of this person? His parents were Robert Jones and Mari. That's as far as my search takes me.
I am very much aware of his life so there's no need to tell me that and I've tried the usual genealogical web sites to no avail. Genesreunited is a wonderful one but, from past experiences, it only makes matches with ancestral names you have recently entered.
Thanks in anticipation

Just realised I typed in the wrong year. It should be 1859!
RoaldoM, I'm trying to trace his ancestors.
He worked in the quarry at Trefor then trained to be a stonemason in Newcastle before moving to Birkenhead where he worked for the Liverpool Corporation. He set up the Welsh Congregational Chapel in Woodchurch Road, Birkenhead. His wife ran a grocer's shop. You're right, looking for a Jones is like looking for the proverbial.
