I'm 28 and for the past 6 months or longer I've not been that lubricated when having sex. My partner is starting to feel that I don't desire him anymore as in the past I've never had any problems like this.

Not sure if its a medical matter or psychological?

Any serious advice will be appreciated very much

It could be a loweing of oestrogen levels.

Unlikely menopause related at your age, are you on any contraceptives which could interfere with oestrogen production?

Are you diabetic or do you use any particular sanitary freshers or other similar products down there save for normal shower gel etc...
Have you tried butter?
It may only be temporary. Try KY Jelly.

Thanks for your replys.

To jen78 I am on Marvelon and not a diabetic either.
I use regular shower gel but am careful down below when using it!

To Schutzengel - Have used KY Jelly but just getting fed up of having to use it all the time!
Are you on the pill? I had trouble when I was taking it, as soon as I stopped the lubrication returned.
get yourself down to Boots the Chemist, KY jelly is what you need, lay it on and enjoy, been there done that.
Hi I have had this problem before, and know it can be frustrating. It could be 1 of various reasons or a combi of all, so know wonder ur a bit confused? What someone mentioned about the shower gel etc could be a factor, as excessive washing down there, particuarly with scented products etc can strip away your natural oils and poss interefere withe the lubrication process! Similarly it seems its becomin a bit of an issue for u, and that in itself can create a viscious cycle. It could be just a phase, and u do need to relax more like the others said and try to go with the flow, so to speak! : - ) This may be diff given ur partners concerns, as it almost puts u under pressure to perfom as it were. See how you get on, and if your still concerned then maybe a trip to the docs is the way forward from here. Good luck x
If you use Replens, which you insert every 3 days, you can artifically restore moisture. You shuldn;t then need to use anything at the time.
