Is there any way to review a persons post history on this site, like you can on other discussion boards.

If so, can anyone enlighten me on how to do it, please?

Ha! No, I jst recall that ages ago another person managed to tell me a,lot of stuff I had posted!!

Either they have an incredibly good memory, or they knew a way to search the site.

BTW, I have tried the search function, to no avail!!
google is the answer to everything lol

type in eg.:
elginred answerbank

and it will bring up a whole host of stuff, if indeed you have a whole host of stuff on this site <:-)

Elginred, if you type the following in Google:

elginred site:theanswerbank.co.uk

you might get a better result, although it's a bit hit and miss.

My answers all differ, dependant on what mood i am in, an also which topic i am in...
I didn't know about it Al, until someone on here posted it.

Not really PT, if someone wanted to scroll through the pages, they could find your entries anyway.

But perhaps there's a lesson to be learned ...... don't be controversial. I'm not at all worried about someone looking up my posts ... we are on a public forum, after all!

Hi PT!

Good point about folk possibly being drunk and posting something they don't mean. Never thought of that, 'cos I am rarely drunk, and on the odd occasion that I am, I just fall asleep! (Cue a halo suddenly appearing around chappie's head). lol.

If ya do post something you're really worried about, you could always email the Ed and explain the situation. He might remove it for you. Or you could add a note to the thread, explaining you'd had a shandy too many.

Personally, I don't take the drunken rants/raves seriously on CB. TBH, I see a lot of the Chatterbank posts as tongue-in-cheek. And the whole concept of folk rowing and bickering with each other whilst being sat at a computer, typing furiously, just makes me chuckle!

I'd feel flattered if someone wanted to look up my posts. In truth, I reckon the only time that would happen, is if someone couldn't sleep. A quick look through my tosh and they'd be out like a light!
