OK, me and my sister have bought my parents a digital camera for Christmas, however apparently my Dad's idea for my Mum's present is a digital camera and he wants to go and find on tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions we can give to him for other ideas of what to get my Mum?

She in her forties and I'm not really 100% sure what it is she likes - she gardens, cooks (she's good but she doesn't especially enjoy it.), I know she likes having lots of photos up of our family etc, she enjoys nice wines, going to the theatre.... It just needs to be better than a digital camera!

Hi you could give your dad the idea of taking her away for a holiday or weekend break instead.Saying she would rather have that as a surprise then a camera. Tell him a camera isnt personal enough and you think she wouldnt really want one that much. Or if your mum likes jewelrey, tell your dad she would love him to buy her some earings or necklace. Could you prehaps say you have been talking about cameras to her and she said she wouldnt really want one.? good luck please let us know how you get on, xx
what about a digital photo frame, then it would compliment the camera!
great idea booboo....

u cud get a nice camera bag and mayb a memory card too

i would let him get a camera and take yours back then as the others say you can get a digital frame, bag etc. You obviously cant tell your dad to get the frame as the camera comes first!
i would say to your dad that a camera is for both of them and would be nice to buy mum something for herself.
