My mates cost 2000 it was gorgeous though with pretty fairy lights and pink ribboned poles. but redcrx is right all depends what you want
My wedding reception marquee was about 3000 for 140 people, it had dance floor, tables and chairs, lighting, star linings at one end. It was fantastic I got it from Red Lion Marquees
Why hire when you can buy your own.

www.bigmarquees.co.uk

eg 500gsm PVC 12m x 6m Marquee Sale Price 895.99 and use it again and again or even sell it on when your finished with it.
What you need to work out is what you have to spend and then what is the best way of egtting bang for your buck / value for money. I used www.3dmarquees.com , as they were able to tailor their offering to my needs rather than just offering a standard off the shelf marquee hire package. I did the rounds of speaking to loads of companies, and yet these guys were the only one that really listened to me and worked to my budget
I had a dedciated event planner, alex was his name, and he really helped me get it done in a stress free / value for money way.

I assume he still works at www.3dmarquees.com
