"Disappearing" e-mails on MSN Hotmail
I looked in the "Sent" box on my MSN Hotmail this morning and was horrified to find that everything (I had about 20 e-mails in there) had "disappeared"! They were all there last night!
I haven't moved/deleted those e-mails and they are not to be found anywhere! Also, I have not added/deleted any programmes, so I am completely at a loss as to what has happened!
Does anyone know............
a) what could have happened to those e-mails?
b) what can I do to retrieve/find them?

If not, then may I suggest you have a virus and would do a full scan to be sure...
And unless they are in your deleted box, there is nothing you can do to retrieve them sorry to say.....
There are programmes out there to retrieve lost e-mails but I owuldn't advise it as they are full of lurgys !!

Stormrush,
How precisely would a virus on surryGuys computer delete things of MSNs servers? Also I doubt MSN would give access to their servers to let anyone try running a mail retrieval program on them!
SurryGuy your best bet is to email MSNs support and ask them, the mails are stored on their server and there is nothing you can do to retrieve them locally.
I wouldn't be supprised if you find they reappear on their own though, probably just a glitch in the MSN servers.

LOL,
not in a moody poody at all, my apologies stormrush if my answer came across as being a little sharp, there was no intention of being rude.
And as for the old/new hormail the option to choose between old and new disappeared a couple of weeks ago, so afraid stuck with the new now (I don't mind it actually)

Hey Chuck
no need to aploogise, I was referring to Mrbounty's response saying it was a poor answer from above...(referring to my response)
People are expected on sites like this one to have a difference in opinion and Chuck, you gave your honest opinion ,( It is nice to know that I can be approached to say that I am wrong ) Mrbounty just mocked me...
In fact, I didn't see an attempt at Mrbounty helping yet he mocked my response and I do apologise if I was wrong but I was only tring to help.... :-)
