As i said the pub is pretty quite and on this friday there was only me and my friend and this other group in there from around 9 onwards.
I am convinced that the only reason they paid for the last 2 drinks was because it would be hard to explain if there was no money taken for 3 hours (open til 12)
Me and my friend stayed until the place closed and like numerous times before i watched them cash up and i didnt see any bits of paper that might have had these friends drinks written down i didnt see the friends pay any tabs when they left. i didnt see the barstaff get their wallets/purses and pay any money to cover the drinks.
I watched very closely so i know i am not mistaken plus i have a witness.
As i said I know all the people concerned quite well and like today when i went in there for a quick glass of wine one of the girls was working and its making me feel very uncomfortable knowing whats going on.
What do i do ? do I tell the land lady what i have seen and then these two end up getting sacked or do i bury my head in the sand and watch the landlady get ripped off and let her business suffer even more than it already is.
The older of the two staff also happens to do the stock takes which is how i think she gets away with it and covers the missing spirits, a few beers probably isnt missed.
What the hell do I do,I like going to this pub but its making me feel uncomfortable, especially when i am chatting to the landlady which is pretty often, and knowing this is going on and i'm often talking to her about ways to maybe drum up some more custom

I worked in a pub many years ago where two of the male staff kept giving their mates free drinks and they were both sacked for it..........I was given their shifts unfortunately and went from two nights a week to 7 in one fell swoop.lol
I'd just like to add(in case anyone thinks I was after the extra shifts) that I didn't inform on the two lads I worked with, the landlord had been watching them for a while and I had only been there a week when they got sacked.

Thanks for that, its along the lines of what i was thinking.
i'm pretty convinced that i'm not wrong in what I am seeing and its now happened on 3 occasions that i have been there when this lot come in, so i'm sure its also happening on other Fridays when i dont go in.
I'll tell her what I've seen and let her take it from there

There is a CCTV cam up but the staff know its a dud
i was thinking of going the anonymous route but its a small pub and 90% of the people that go in all know each other so i know she'd probably ask a few subtle questions and I am not a very good liar. As i am one of her best customers and help her out with her posters, flyers and all her IT side of things i'm pretty sure i'd be top of her list and i think that might make me fell even more awkward.
I'm just gonna have to give her the story like it is and so be it

sorry but I'd keep out, who really made it your business? (god that sounded really rude, wasnt meant that way) but really all I;m saying is if the landlord is stupid enough not to do proper stock takes and realise she is losing drink somewhere then thats her own fault, also she should have cameras on the bar anyway.
I witnessed shop lifters in a store other day who I knew but thought why should I do the job of the shopowners when it was so obvious what they were doing, they are from quite a nasty family too so I thought better of it

what made it my business was the fact that i am witnessing it.
I see people getting free drinks and then i'm handing money over for my drinks.
anyway the purpose of asking here was to get a general consensus, and that would seem overwhelmingly to be that I should let her know, what she does once she has the info is up to her.
thanks

If you are right these people are thieves. If you saw someone breaking in you would probably phone the police. There is no difference. Tell her you have something to tell her in strictest confidence. She will soon catch them and sack them without involving you. She has risked a lot on this investment and times are hard enough without friends or staff ripping you off.
