A friend of mine has asked me to post this for him, as he doesn't have a p.c.

He has a picture of a waterfall, entitled Natural Beauty: The source of the River Mersey. He said the waterfall is connected to a few rivers, some of which I remember are The Goyt, The Tame, and The Etherow to name a few. I have searched Google, but cannot fiind this particular waterfall. Pity you cannot show pics on this, as he left me a picture of it. Would be grateful if anyone can help in solving where this waterfall is, as he would like to go and visit it.

Thanks

If the waterfall is at the confluence of the rivers you have named that places it in the centre of Stockport.

This is the River Kinder, about 6 miles from Stockport, coming off the edge of  Kinder Scout, in the Peak District.

It runs into the Sett which joins the Goyt and the Etherow before joining the Tame at Stockport. Even if it's not the right picture, it's still a beauty.

It might help if I gave a website!!
