sounds to me like your battery has not got enough power left in it to fire it up,or if your starter motor is NOT brand new then it too could be faulty. or even a bad earth.

its brand new from halfords . the car will bump start alright.but just clicking sound when i turn it off and try to start.

me too. could still be faulty. or even the wrong unit.

problem solved it was a duff battery.
