Hi, I have the standard cd player in my 206, a couple of months ago it stopped ejecting cd's, it simply makes a clicking noise for several seconds. the radio works but the cd is still stuck and i obviously can not use it, i can't even listen to the cd that is in there. Can anyone suggest how i fix it? or suggest a new resonably priced unit i could by that will work with the controls by the steering wheel and also in the display on top of the dashboard.
Thanks

I know there's one in there but try to insert another one, it should go in about half an inch. This happened to mine and was jammed for about a month and gave out a clicking noise, i did this and the one stuck in there popped out. You never know, it might work?
Hi, best bet remove the unit You need 2 removal tools Cost App 5. take the unit out remove the top & remove the disk, Is the disk you are using a copy? If so that is your problem.

Hi no it's not a copy, to be honest sometimes it ejects the cd but seems pretty random, it just that it does a clicking noise all the time, i am thinking it's a motor or something. Anyone know if a replacement unit I could get which will work the same?
Hi, within the Unit you have obviously cogs etc they are driven by a very thin belt, if the C/D is not to bril that sound you hear is the sound you stated, Ist how old is your car? 2nd & the way I would go about it try a C/D cleaning disk they are not that much if that fails take the unit out as I stated ( It is not a big job, you can have it out within 10 mins with the rights tools (2) you need 2 withdraw tools then undo the aerial + the connecting plug then take the radio to your local Auto Elec as for a quote doing it that way you know that the unit will be (A1 PERFECT) Depending on the age of your car if it's late in 2000 I would contact Peugeot UK If the latter let me know I will advise you.
