No I won't miss it, there are always groups of troglodites outside Woolies on a Saturday in our town from 12:00 noon onwards and cigarette smoke wafting from the steps and doors. The inside is strewn with sweets and magazines that have fallen off the shelf and in the summer dead plants in the windows. People bang into you and the staff are either ignorant or brain dead, so no I won't miss it. Gone are the days when people were taught some respect when working at woolies.
I will be sad to see our local Woolie go as we
don't have a linen ,DIY or hardware shop
so as they stock nearly everthing it will be
missed ..not everyone has a car to go to
the local huge Planet Tesco ..ok on the bus
for the oaps but they can't carry large items ..
so go to Woolies and have a cab back home
I feel for the staff as it's a horrible experience
losing your job ..even worse just before Xmas ...
do you remember when woollies had a cafe at the back of every shop . and they had plastic tomato ketchup bottles shaped like tomatoes . and sugar dispensers that only let you have one teaspoonful per tip up
I'll miss our Woolworths store , they have good deals on their sweets and chocolates , and even their fizzy and energy drinks. Ours has a huge selection of good toys for the childrens birthday , christmas , and pocket money .x
