Hello there!
I am new here, and new to Birmingham. I am looking for a flat or an apartment to rent in Birmingham, since I've moved over here recently.

But I am not sure about on which area to rent one. Came across quite few properties and not really sure which once to go with, had few view in Hockley. Is Hockley a good place.

My employer is located in B1, just in front of Arena. Can anyone suggest me any good place to stay in Birmingham, nice and calm.

Thanks a lot!

Hockley is not a good place to live. If you don't mind a short commute, parts of Moseley and Kings' Heath are good for young professionals.
moseley and kings heath, are you joking????
if you want to livein the suburbs then i generally find the south of the city to be the better parts, king norton, kings heath, bournville etc

if you want to live near the city centre then st. pauls square is great, as is all the areas around the canals, brindley place, mailbox etc
