Tesco Granary has got smaller ....

Further to my previous thread about Tesco Direct ... I buy Tesco Granary bread, and have found that the last two loaves have been ... smaller and squarer !! And no cheaper !!! Talk about cut backs.

Our local store has the larger slices, but 3 others in the general area produce loaves that are taller, narrower and denser. We avoid those wherever possible!
We buy a couple of loaves at a time, cut each in half & freeze. Then 2 mins in the microwave results in fresh, crisp bread & no need to throw away the end of the loaf.
