Any suggestions for this?

Whilst on holiday in Clearwater, Florida, I found a camera memory card lying on the pavement. I looked at it when I got back and there are 1500 photos on it. Looking closer at the photos, it seems the owner lives in New Jersey. I contacted the New Jersey Herald by email and they said they would put it in the paper if they had room. Obviously someone is going to want this card back but I don't know if the paper has printed the details. I don't really know what else I can do. Any ideas? Thanks.

The finder posted a couple of pictures on http://www.flickr.com/ and someone knew who the person in the picture was and let them know.
And with 1500 pictures on it, there's a good chance that the owner is serious about photography.
Best of luck with your search.

How old are the people in the pictures? Might be easier to find a way to target them.
How about e.mailing some local news stations to see if they will run the photos and see if someone recognises them?
They might also be able to narrow down the area the people come from as well from seeing the pictures.
