The Venetian in Las Vegas

I am going to The Venetian in Las Vegas and I"m getting worried because I've been reading reviews about thefts from the rooms, bad service and a very tight casino. Has anyone stayed there and what were your experiences?

Another website to try for advice would be tripadvisor.com  I've used this myself a few times for holidays and have found it very useful (Also for vegas tip's too).  You must remember though these are only other people's opinions. One person might not give a bad review but it might be a palace to another.
