I have not a clue as to what all that last response means but I can tell you that the queen is the most powerful piece in the game and my suit of shining armour rusted a long time ago - something to do with the black king!

I love all games and have really tried to play chess. My husband bought me one of those electronic games that is supposed to help you learn, but I'm afraid it was all too much for me. I think you probably need one to one tuition until you learn the basics but I don't know anyone who could give me that, so I have reluctantly given up!!
