crew past tense of crow - gloat
Crew is the past tense of CROW. CROW means to gloat.
crew- think it must be this. To crow is to gloat. Yet, hopefully someone will answer this for you as not sure on the working out. Yet feel your answer is right. Ciao, Bea:-)
