How can you drop an egg 50 metres with out it breaking?

Drop it from a height greater than 50m. The egg won't break after falling the 50m but it will when it finally hits something

Make sure the egg is still inside the chicken? the chicken will flutter rather ungracefully down to earth.

You put the egg in a lift, send it to the top floor, cut the cables, and then tell the egg to jump just before the lift hits the ground.
