Shooting pain up arm when resting elbow on hard surface
3 Answers
In the past year or so I have been getting the odd shooting pain up my arm when I rest my elbow on a table, or other hard surface. They are geting more painful, I almost yelled out in work today when I had one. Any ideas on what it could be?
I'm 22 and healthy, I've not had any trouble like this before. I excercise regularly but nothing crazy; usually walking, swimming or dancing.

There is a surgical procedure to move the nerve slightly but wouldn't recommend this unless it gets really severe. Gp not likely to have any easy solutions for you.
