Oh, I do have some fillings & two crowns at the back (thanks to munching on an eccles cake a few years back - small stone in it - ouch)!
I used to be terrified of the dentist when little, but on taking our two daughters as toddlers for check ups, I had to be brave & the fear gradually subsided!
I now go every six months for a scale & polish, & hopefully nothing else for the time being!
I agree (for a change!!) with Lofty......
Personally I think they all interbreed. This becomes apparent when you discover that the village they hail from everyone has the same surname.
My son, and his two stepbrothers, went through a phase of about 4 years when none of the mucky little devils bothered to brush their teeth - hardly at all or certainly not properly. I think it's a mid-teenage boy thing.
They soon started to brush, floss, polish & listerine once girls were discovered and used for snogging practice.
All 3 of them have great teeth. (And great girlfrriends!)
