Torchwood Coat

Does anyone know where I can get a coat like what Captain Jack Harkness wears in Torchwood?

I'm pretty certain that Jack's coat was made for the show (Dr Who's certainly was), however it is based on an old army great coat which you might find if you can find an army surplus shop.However with modern fabrics I suspect the old army great coats have disappeared now, I haven't seen anyone wearing one for years but in my student days everyone had one!

we got an army surplus near us,there was one similiar hanging up in there for ages,,havent looked lately so maybe gone now,,but they def best place to look xx

The coat is actually based upon a WWII RAF greatcoat. Try E-Bay. Just type in "Captain Jack Torchwood Greatcoat" or "RAF Greatcoat" and you should find plenty. If you're going for screen authenticity, be sure to look for one with a full belt and epaulettes. You can also find the rank slides for sale on E-Bay as well. Good luck!
