Oddly enough, it's dark, we've had some rain [lovely] and I'm about to go to bed, which doesn't really help much as I'm on the other side of the world !!

Wet. And dull.
Got bleedin' soaked struggling with the car park barrier this morning - I am always first in. The wind kept blowing it back down & I just couldn't get the rod into the hole. (There is no pun intended in that - that's the truth.) I was freezing, frustrated, then the wind blew my glasses off & I had to search for them in the dark or else the next car would have crushed them - �270 worth of Dior prescription glasses I will have you know. And I've already claimed for them on my house insurance twice.

I have only just got warm. Not a good start to the morning, but I'm okay now.

It's been wet and miserable here all morning although sun is now out. But I can see some rather nasty clouds coming in. And its damn windy - blew my garage door open (narrowly missing my lovely car) and has trashed next door's outdoor Christmas decs.

Preston is abit dull and wet but it's not too cold, no need to venture out til later and so staying snug and warm inside!

Rain on top of snow, on top of previous snow which had frozen over.

I staggered to nursery with Mini Boo this morning, intending to drop her off and plod on to work, only to be told that she was the only child who'd turned up and therefore they were closing!!!

Work was REALLY impressed when I phoned to tell them that I couldn't get in because of it.
