How do I switch off Traffic Reports?

I have an S reg 2L VW Passat with a standard factory fitted radio. I pressed the TP button and now the programmes that I'm listening to are constantly interupted by traffic reports that I don't want! This is happening every 5-10 minutes and is becoming very frustrating. Does anyone out there know what I have to do to switch these reports off and get it back to how it was?

Pretty sure you just press the TP button again to turn it off.

I have done that and all it does is switch it back to the channel I was originally listening to! 5-10 minutes later I get another traffic report!
