As far as I can remember on mine it was real easy. There were only two buttons to press, one with "H" to adjust the hour and one with "M" to adjust minutes. Adjust hours first and then minutes. Or is yours not that simple ? ( You may have a small flap immediately under the clock hiding the buttons).
