Energy Certificates
1 Answers
Does anyone actually care about energy performance in public buildings especially hospitals ??
noticed a certificate when i was waiting at the local hospital, first thought that went through my mind is of the cost of something (no doubt lots of money earnt by outside companies ) that no one ,certainly in a hospital , is really interested in. I dont think anyone for one second would choose a different hospital because pf the energy rating of a particular one was poor..or have i missed the point somewhere??
The penalty is 500 for failing to display a DEC at all times in a prominent place clearly visible to the public and 1,000 for failing to have possession of a valid Advisory Report. In addition to these penalties, it is still necessary to commission the documents.
