Packard bell pc

My pc has stopped working.When i switch it on it sounds one long beep followed by two short ones and juat repeats this until I switch it off again.What could be wrong?

it sounds like you have dust in the back, hoover or blow dust from the back and see if that fixes it, my sister had the same problem and it worked for her

If the cleaning the dust away has worked, ignore this...

...But if not... How long have you had it for? I had the exact same problem with a Packard Bell and must have had it for 5years plus - we just got rid of it - The most likely cause (after dust) is the processore itself has bust... if so (or similar) your going to need a new computer! :( If you got it brand new thopugh, it may still be covered on warrenty. Check before you throw!

it's probably a ram fault, take the cover of, remove your ram and refit it

if it has a separate graphics card remove and refit that too
