Tuning matsui video into my tele

I have lost the instructions of my old video and as my daughter has recently had this, since its return i can watch videos but cannot record as i do not know how to tune it in, can anyone help please.

choose a channel on ur tv u want to be ur video channel--say 0--do not use a scart connection-- use ariel to video and then video to tv coaxial cable--put a tape in ur video and press play--go to ur tv control and get menu to tune channel 0 or whatever--tune ur tv until the image from the tape appears and save that setting--ur video is now tuned to ur tv--when ur tv is on channel 0 u can change the channel u watch on tv with ur video control--whatever channel u choose on ur video control u can record--at the same time u can then watch other channels using ur tv control--hope this makes sense to u--if u have a freeview or satelite system things are different

I assume you do have the original remote, as it wont be possible to tune it in without it....

The model is VP 9505 its quite old.

sometimes with these matsui's you have to hold in the power button until channel number 34 starts to flash( video channel).then use the buttons on your remote to scan the channels as instructed on screen.)

p.s not sure if you start with power on or standby.
