Dont know how you all do it.
The only time I tried to get another name was when the new Ed arrived and I was cut off in me prime.
I still havent got it up and running to this day, even after repeatedly mentioning it, to you know who, shhhhhhhhhh xxx

I haven't used my old name since the day I created this one, I'm not sure if it's been deleted. I haven't set up a back up name though, but I will if I'm dungeoned (e.g. Lakitu 2 or something as equally inspiring)

I only use this name, I started on this site with another name for about 2 months before "creating" Chuck. I do have one other name in backup for use if I get banned (Heres-Chucky) but that has only been used once for a day while I was in the dungeon.
