I would share it out and not one particular charity, but 'The Mcmillan Nurses' comes top of my list as I have had personal experience of these wonderful people.
Hmmm, what a good question. I think it would be Cancer Research or The McMillian Nurses or Marie Curie as I know too many people who have suffered with the dreaded disease.
You have to be a certain type of person to be able to deal with cancer patients and their families, and know the right things to say to help these people. I think they are marvelous............. I know I couldn't do their job, I would just go to pieces.
I'd share mine between the McMillan Nurses and Claire House. A lot of my family members have lost the battle to cancer and as for Claire House, I'm grateful that none of my children have ever needed their amazing care and support and hopefully never will.
It's definitely be an animal charity of some sort, though I'm wary of commercialised ones like the RSPCA. I'd rather give it to a local animal shelter, actually the one near me Bleakholt would more than likely get it.
Water Aid... they ensure that folk all over the world have access to clean drinking water - now can you imagine life without clean drinking water ? Of course not, which is why I chose that particular charity !
Mine would be half for my local Battered Womens Refuge', and half for MIND - they were very good to me when I needed them. It was 20 years ago, I have never forgotten their support.
i would split it between the british heart foundation if you parden the punn ( acharity very close to my heart), aids reasearch, research into altzimers and dementia particularly lewy body dementia research, and a donkey sanctuary i just love donkeys and hate it when fat kids are riding them on the beach
