Unsolicited chat message on skype.....

I just joined skype a little over a month ago....today when I got home,I found an unsolicited chat message from someone/something I do not know. ( " this user hasnot shared their details with you " ) Can I open this without any repurcussions such as some nasty invading my computer????......and how would my number have been obtained??? Any ideas??

i got rid of skype, well it was either that or make up a bed for my new bestest mate Polish Tomaz, A week after speaking to him he wanted to come over for an holiday , because he really like me (yeah liked me , i thought that was odd too)
