once stated that she was not in the business of banning people as that was non productive. I assumed she was speaking for the company and expressing their policy.

This is a direct criticism of the editorial decision to ban TheCorbyloon for repeated editorial criticism.

I feel strongly that the ed has made a bad decision and it is my opinion that he should reinstate TheCorbyloon and simply stand the criticism, it's only a web site!!!!!

Agree with you Dot 100%.
Gotta say so do I dot.
Havent been on much but ive told corby he was pushing it with the ed .

He kept doing it , entirely his choice and the end result is a banning.

Hey come back as loony 2 .
But eds said no reinstatement when youre banned and he must stick to that or we will have whiffy and lamberginii man wanting their names back as well as lungy and othersc .

Rules are there .
Obey or be banned .

End of .

DID THAT HELP ?
Anyone notice that the Ed went "sick" at the same time as the last Corby uprising! <tut> Don't count on hearing from him for a while.
...and also when I was a teacher to young children, I always allowed them to speak their minds as long as it was done politely, even if it was against me or something they didn't like. Why cannot grown-ups act in this manner!! we should be allowed to express our opinions even if it is contrary to the Ed or others, but in a polite way!

where is Mumping then? Has he been banned too? that would be just as ridiculous

It is one thing to ban someone for posting offensive garbage and abuse, but another to remove fair comment that leads to debate and possible improvement of the site. I am still totally gob smacked that any editor of a website would feel it necessary to take such action
I agree with you Dot. The thread I started last night has been deleted. It had 40+ posts on it, mostly agreeing that the Ed is treating TCL unfairly.

It's ridiculous that all his posts have been removed.
