NoChristmas Tree this year ..

I don't want a Tree this year as I wont be home that much, any ideas for something else instead, with lights please??

why not just hang lights round pictures, cabinets etc

I felt like that then had some inspiration from the local pound shop and got a mini tree with little angels, lights and such and the whole think cost me �7! Have got it on a little side table...

You could do something with little Christmassy lamps with lights in them rather than candles, maybe put some fake snow on and get some holly.

Get some Christmassy smelling pot pourri or make some apples with cloves.

Some nice Christmassy bunches of dried or fake flowers could be nice.

Vases of natural decorations - you could spray twigs, leaves, woody plants, etc. in silver or gold, and maybe some lights up at the window?
