iv seen this a few times now wer the magician raises a large sheet,which is then dropped and a lovely lady or a car etc etc appears,obviousley the car was always there,hows it done? is it true magic?

It is done with mis-direction, smoke and mirrors.

I have from a knowledgeable and trusted soource that you should never trust anything you see on tv, no matter how many times they say there is no camera trickery here, this is absolutely genuine etc etc.

Revealing girls is done by hiding them in a space at the back of the prop (they are usually contorsonists)

Reaviling cars etc is done by camera trickery, 2 identical props one with a car one without and a "in on it" audience
