How nice is it to have a lie in on a school day :)
So far so good with the electrics and looking forward to going back home to Shropshire later to see family and go to my cousin's 21st birthday party :)
Looks cold out there though, not looking forward to shifting my bum off the warm and cosy sofa.
Watching them making scones on This Morning and sooo want one now!
How's everyone else this morning?

Oooh not a good time to be out in the cold at night at the moment.
I've got to get back from deepest darkest shropshire (oo-ahhh haha) this evening and am anticipating issues as got to change and get a rail replacement bus. If I miss it I am sat on a freezing station platform for over an hour til about 1am in my little black dress and heels!

oooh a day off, you lucky thing :)
Im working til lunch and then travelling up to see 4get and rest of family and work up there for a couple of days.
Did you get the leak and leddy sorted? After i posted on your thread the other night the alerter went off and Mr CRX got called to an electrical fire. a fully crewed first machine was sat there for 3 hours waiting for edf to get someone there! Good job there wre no emergencies in the meantime

Hi redcrx and funnygirl :)
Kinda sorted redcrx, thanks for all your help the other night.
We tracked the leak to the top floor flat, seems like they have had problems for ages and were without power for a week and the flat inbetween have damp and water running down the walls but nothing had been done.
We managed to get the landlord of the top flat's "plumber" (I'm not sure if he was a real one though) out and he just switched their water supply off so the poor things have no water til they sort the leak (not obvious so they need to get into the pipes through the wall).
My landlord's electrician came and emptied some of the sockets of water and it's dried out a bit now enough to be able to keep the leccy on without it tripping.
I feel bad though as the poor people upstairs still have damp and top flat have no water. What a mess!
I said I'll help them as much as I can, write them some kick arse legal letters and such for them if it will help.
