Can someone explain to me why there are still 3 couples in it? I came in half-way through the programme!

They claim its because the judges voted two equally, however with John sergeant walking a couple of weeks ago they were a couple short if they had continued to vote one off each week. it seems too contrived to me to be convincing.

you are right of course, but I am a real softy and was delighted that all three couples will be in next week

I think that it's lovely that all 3 are back next week but two judges voting an equal number of marks shouldn't matter - I thought that it was meant to be the public's vote that counted and I'm sure that they were not absolutely equal! Did you see how much Vincent and Rachael were shaking? I loved their Argentine Tango!

Complete con. Unexpected loss of JS means the programme is running with one less participant.
So let's get the poor punters to vote, but not remove anybody. That way the income from the programme is assured and the schedule can be maintained.

I would guess the decision was taken to keep all three couples in before tonights show, probably when John Sargent threw in the towel.
Whatever, I am pleased at the decision, they were all absolutely over the moon.
I'm a sucker, I know it, but isn't it refreshing to have positive and nice on the telly.

Glad to see all 3 couples in the final, it did look a bit contrived but votes are carried over until next week! Would have been a poor final with just two couples! I thought Brendan and Lisa were the best!

They had a 2-couple final last year which was excellent.

The problem with the voting was that with the girls sharing 1st position there is no way Tom could be saved regardless of how many votes he polled so they were asking people to vote to save someone who could not be saved. This is obviously wrong and why they did what they did subsequently.

I'm glad there are three in the final.

Are they refunding the voting monies or at least donating it to charity.

I know that it was filmed right after but it would be a good gesture, especially just before Christmas.
