No.44 is AN UNOFFICIAL ROSE by IRIS MURDOCH
No.50 is RUTH, ESTHER & JENNIFER - I can't remember where I got this from on google, they are kittens given to a cat -hater.
The pictures you mentioned have got me stumped too.

Looks more like a sardine but I don't know any girls called that.
Apart from most of the pictures, which I'm almost on the point of giving up on, I have still to get 41, 43 and 46 in the book titles/authors. Clues welcome !
