I'm having problems playing a DivX file which is audio encoded with the mp3 codec (which I have). There is no sound at all. WMP10 keeps trying to find the codec even though it's installed and fails every time. Any suggestions?

a divx file is a dvd movie or movie clip and as such an mp3 audio codec will not work.have you downloaded a video to a song? as you have not said what it is you have downloaded.anyway to watch your clip you will need to download a divx player and divx audio codec wich you can do by clicking the link above.

According to Gspot and VideoInspector the file is encoded with the mp3 codec. Is there such a thing as a divx audio codec?
