Sugar Thermometer

I think I have a sugar thermometer.. it was in a bag of kitchen utensils given to me,
It is in Farenheight, but only goes up to 190 degrees. The recipe i want to use, needs to be 116 degrees C.. What is the conversion into F and does the thermometer go high enough!!

190 F is only about 88 Centigrade
