Is this possible? :
Can I record my voice and get the recording into the 'sounds' file in the 'media' folder on my computer so that when I boot my computer I get my own voice saying "Welcome"- or something like that???
AND if it is, then HOW??
This could be interesting!
Cheers

Perfectly possible. Once you have recorded your sound, go to "sounds and multimedia" under control panel, scroll daown until you find "start windows" then click on browse to choose your sound.

I believe sounds have to be .wav format for this to work.

Thanks squarebear. It was so simple ; but I wouldn't have known how to start.
The sounds do have to be in .wav format.
Once again, many thanks
