i have put new security on the computer,uninstalled the Mc Afee but ever since i get 'CEC_MAIN.exe' please reinstall..? as a novice what can i do.

I presume you have a disk with the new security programme.If so....un-install the programme then go to START,CONTROL PANEL and select ADD/REMOVE prog. Insert the disk and follow instructions
