What does it hold for you? Good, bad or ugly! May be you've started a new relationship? Or have you lost someone close? Relocated? Feeling the pinch financially? Unexpected windfall? New addition to the family? What does this Christmas hold for you?

Hiya smudge,
sorry to hear that. You must all have some really nice memories of her though? And, knowing she would'nt want you all being upset, a toast to her is really very sweet! xxx

Hi gina,
sorry about your dad xx Hope you have a lovely Christmas despite your sadness xxx
everyone always thinks we are all having fun around christmas time, not the case!!!!
My ex husband had a serious car crash on Christmas eve and was in the intensive treatment unit at selly oak hospital all christmas. Good lord, i saw some things in there that made me realise that for an awful lot of people (myself included that year) it is a really miserable time of the year.
I shall never forget hearing young man on the phone to his sister breaking the news that both their parents had died in an RTA and he had been on the phone to his Mum when it happened and had heard it. I still think of them every year. :-(

That's awful julie :0(
yeah it was sachs. Rotton time i can tell ya! I also had a body wheeled past me! Happy xmas eh!

Still, mine this year is going to be excellent and im really looking forward to it. :-):-)

I have a neighbour who suffers with depression and i always worry about him at this time of year as all his problems seem to be magnified. so sad. Lovely that you care enough about your friend though sachs! Depression is a nasty thing any time of the year.
I'm not quite sure about Christmas this year.

It's been a strange year as I thought I'd found someone to give me a bit of stability and security, and love of course.

So I'm alone again this Christmas and not quite sure what I'm doing. I think I feel it more as my little brother is getting married and my biological clock has started ticking.

Would usually go to mum and dad's though can't leave the cat so soon after I rescued him and can't take him home as mum has a cat. I've invited them to mine, thought it'd be nice for mum to have a break and I can cook them Christmas dinner while they relax but they haven't made up their mind yet so might just be me, the cat and the hamster :)
