I had my bag stolen in town today

I am devastated. It had my car keys in, house keys purse and credit cards. It has caused me so much hassle today now I am worried as I can't remember if there was anything in there with my address on

Oh dear. If your bag was stolen I presume you informed the ploice. I would suggest you inform your insurance company with the ref no if you cannot afford to change the locks. My policy changed locks in these circumstances.

Was out with the lady I work with and was in a shop helping her pay, put my bag on her chair handle and then realised it had gone when we went for lunch.
It's the fact they nicked it off the wheelchair too

Its a horrible thing to happen at any time but just before Xmas kind of makes it worse.

Scumbags.

Was your driving licence in the bag? Or a diary with your address in? Perhaps err on the side of caution. When my bag got nicked (as it did on 3 ocassions when I worked in London), as ummmm has already pointed out, the house insurance paid to have the house locks changed on the house and the car insurance people the car locks.

(Although one of the times my bag got nicked, my dear friend called the police on my behalf and threatened to go and chin some poor homeless person if the police didn't do something. Then she gave them MY name!!!! Who needs enemies with helpful friends like that......!)

I wish you had of been the person that I met in the ladies toilets 2 weeks ago!
I found an elderly ladies bag hanging on the back of the cubilcle door , just after i rushed in there.
I quickly took it to the attendant, and watched an old woman rushing in. ---- I had her bag ---
and happily handed it over, and she gave me a big sloppy kiss on the cheek , for being so honest (bless her)
