I start on Tues....have Xmas off at least-lol......I've never worked for a company that closes for the holiday period-nice I bet... ;-))

I think it must be rotten if you have young children at home, and have a job which means leaving them at Christmas - but in some cases, folk have no choice.

well-a lot of places will make n exception for those with young children..

True, but not always so easy for people who're nurses, doctors, fire fighters and so on. Someone has to be on call.
